Question: My son is deployed in the military and I was wondering if you could send a tree to him where he is stationed?
Answer: We recommend our 3 foot balsam fir. Click Here for more information. We can send the tree by United States Postal Service as long as he/she has a good APO or FPO address. We will send you a postal reciept, but we cannot guarantee date of delivery. Nov.13, is the deadline for sending holiday packages to troops stationed overseas packages all Air/Army Post Office (APO) or Fleet Post Office (FPO) ZIP Codes. Delivery Confirmation is available for almost all military destinations outside the United States. Delivery Confirmation provides customers with the date, ZIP Code and time the package was delivered.

Question: I was wondering if you can send LIVE tree, Not Cut! We want to continue growing it here after Christmas, as a permanent marker of this year.
Answer: We ship small (1-2 foot) live trees, either Balsam fir, Fraser fir, or Blue spruce. BUT, unless you live in a cold climate the tree will not live long. Evergreen firs must go through dormancy, in other words freeze solid once a year as part of their natural cycle. That's why balsams grow in Vermont and not in Georgia or Texas.

Question: Can you flock trees prior to shipping? We like the Christmas Tree Snow effect.
Answer: No. We love our fresh christmas trees, so we do not have the heart to stucco them.

Christmas Tree Care Question: I would like to know what your recommendations are for keeping your christmas trees fresh?
Christmas Tree Care Answer: As soon as you receive your fresh christmas tree take it out of the box. Your tree will be shipped with care instructions. You also need to make a fresh cut on the bottom of the tree sap so the tree can absorb water. Immediately after you made your cut place your tree in a stand that holds at least a gallon of water, so you only have to water once a day. Keep your live christmas tree away from direct heat(fireplace, heater, or furnace vent). Remember your tree needs up to a gallon of water a day depending on the temperature and humidity of your house.

Christmas Wreath Care Question: I would like to know what your recommendations are for keeping your holiday wreaths fresh?
Christmas Wreath Care Answer: Misting wreaths everyday helps keep them fresh longer. If possible, keep your wreath away from sunlight. If you put a wreath on a south facing front door and the sun beats on it through a glass outer door, your wreath will dry out quicker.

Question: Is there any way to deliver a tree to Honolulu Hawaii?
Answer : We can send a 3.5 foot or 5 foot tree by USPS. A 6-7 foot tree we can do 2nd day air, or ground, which takes about 7 business days.

Question: Can I puchase a Christmas Tree Offseason?
Answer: June is our tree shearing season, but we sell Christmas Trees, Wreaths all year long. We get tree orders from Hollywood production companies (you may have seen one of our trees in a movie), magazines, television companies, throughout the year. We sent one of our Scotch Pines to a woman that was having a Christmas in July wedding party. What a great idea.

Question: What is the difference between a Balsam Fir, Canaan Valley Fir and a Fraser fir?
Answer: Balsam firs, Canaan Valley Fir and Fraser firs are genetic cousins. (When they are small, under three feet, it's almost impossible to tell the difference) They have the same nice Christmas fragrance, but the balsams is much stronger. The cousin Fraser, however, has a bluer color and stronger branches. Needle retention of a Fraser is significantly better than a balsam.

Question: What tree would you recommend for newborn children?
Answer: A White Pine Christmas Tree has the softest branches.

Question: Can you drill holes at the bottom of the tree for our Christmas Tree stand?
Answer: No. We do not recommend using tree stands that require you to drill a hole at the base. This will cause the tree to dry out faster.
